OK, I haven’t fallen off of the face of the Earth or anything…I’ve just been trying to finish my thesis and, you know, graduate. My committee is long-suffering at this point and I’m working hard on getting it right and done! It’s getting there and I’m pretty darn optimistic. I’m feeling kind of guilty taking a break to write this post!

In the meantime, I am loving the buttons I got from Preservation Maryland recently–especially that one of Frederick Douglass. If that doesn’t speak to the heart of my thesis and how I feel about preservation’s future, then I don’t know what does.
